The Federal Government has pronounced Friday, fifteenth and Monday, eighteenth June as a public holiday to celebrate current year's Eid-el Fitr.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, on Monday, in an announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the service, Dr. M. B. Umar on Monday. He praised the Muslim dedicated on an effective finishing of the Ramadan.

The Minister likewise ordered all Nigerians to utilize the event of the festival to petition God for the peace, solidarity, flourishing and soundness of the country.
