How does it feel to be the general best graduating student of your university?
It is amazing knowledge. I truly can 't accept what God has done in my life.
It is amazing to graduate with a Grade Point Average of 4 .97. How were you able to accomplish this feat?
Truly it was difficult for me to get this far. Like most other Nigerian young people, I had a few difficulties while in school. Be that as it may, God acted the hero and helped me to conquer them.
What were the difficulties you faced in school?
Sometime in the past, it looked as though I would need to drop out of the university since I couldn't 't pay my school fees. It was extremely an intense time for me and it influenced my result for that semester.
What level were you at the time?
It was during the second semester. I was in 300 level.
Why couldn't you pay your fees? Were you supporting your education yourself?
It is a long story. To begin with, let me express gratitude toward God for seeing me through the pot of my academic life. Pretty much, I was supporting my education myself. My parents were crippled financially in light of some business association that turned out badly in 2010. At a point, I was on sponsorship, yet it was later pulled back.
Who was your support at that point and for what reason did he pull back?
It was an altruism sponsorship from a little gathering, yet they could 't proceed any longer. What's more, at that pivotal time, God ventured in.
How were you ready to pay your expenses during that period?
A few children of God began demonstrating their solidarity and began contributing towards my fees. I owe them a universe of appreciation. A portion of these kindhearted individuals are Prof. Oduyoye, Pastor Adesina Femi, Pastor M .O. Akpa and Pastor T .U Dickson. Likewise, the Leo Class 2018 was very useful through the 'Help a Leo Roar ' activity. The rundown goes on, however, I simply need to specify just f a couple. They are for the most part permanent in the sections of the tale of my life.
How were you growing up?
Growing up was great. My parents did their best in raising me and I am pleased with them. Mum is a taskmaster, however, she adjusts that quality extremely well with receptiveness. My kin and I could converse with her about everything without exception under the sun. She ingrained the fear of God in us, which is the foundation whereupon each other training were assembled
Father is the sort that has a tad bit of the western life worldview. So he gave us the sort of introduction that was fundamental for a tyke experiencing childhood in this age. I was exposed to PC, email, and all that very early. They were all useful.
You could have studied some other course at the university. For what reason did you make due with Christian Religious Knowledge?
I was initially a Computer/Electronic student at Lead City University. I needed to drop out of school in 200 level due to my parents ' business association that turned out badly. So they couldn't bear to pay my educational cost fees any longer.
In any case, at that point, I chose to proceed with my life and not yield to that difficulty
So I went into rap music. I needed to utilize my music to have any kind of effect. I needed it to be my own particular voice, however, the promoters I met needed to change my perspective. Due to my experience and training, however, I couldn't without much of a stretch surrender to what they asked for of me. I as of now had two tracks that I had recorded and needed to begin pushing. But since of that condition, they didn't bolster those tracks.
What they asked for from me was disgusting and radical expressive music … It was an intense choice to make. At a point, I chose to yield to their request and acknowledge the proposition. I cleared out Ibadan for my home in Ijebu Ode, just for me to return home to meet a Bible study series and evangelism going ahead in my father's congregation. The congregation is situated in our compound. I went into my room, dropped my sack and entered the congregation.
I could have recently quit for the day mind and simply let the evangelists make their standard clamor. Be that as it may, something grabbed my eye and, out of the blue, I saw a book of scriptures think about session went with delineations. The evangelist was outlining all he was stating with excellent pictures, intelligent contentions and in particular, scriptural realities.
I just proposed to remain for three days before returning to Ibadan to set out on that adventure of no arrival ( at any rate that 's what I had as the main priority). Be that as it may, my father made me remain for the entire 14 - day program.
That was the manner in which my life changed. I gave my life to Christ, got sanctified through water after the program and chose to leave that part of my life and have an association with Christ. This time, it must be a more considerable relationship in light of the fact that, without precedent in my life, Christianity really seemed well and good and was levelheaded to me.
This occurred in the vicinity of
2009 and 2011.
An opening came up for an evangelist task to the place where I grew up. I joined the gathering of Bible educators and ministers that went to pioneer the Seventh Day Adventist Church through house to house Bible examination at Iwopin, Ijebu-Waterside, Ogun State in 2012. I put in multi-year and 11 months there. A ton of things occurred in that period. There I got the profound impression that God had an arrangement for my life and that He needed me to get engaged with full-time service.
That required some arrangement and preparing, consequently, the need to come to Babcock University to examine Christian Religious Studies. A considerable measure of my companions thought I was insane for picking the course. One of them even said to me in Pidgin English, "Fellow, bomb dey your head? You a top of the line student considering philosophy? You should be insane ."
