JAMB 2018/19 REGISTRATION FULL PROCEDURES FOR REGISTRATION

This article is a simple guide on how to register for jamb 2018/2019, fees required from JAMB, Full registration date, MOCK examination.
According to the jamb registrar professor Ishaq oloyede, he said earlier that the sales of 2018 jamb forms would commence on 22nd November 2017 and end 22nd January 2018. Read below for steps for registration

       Steps and requirements for registering for JAMB 2018
•    Candidates are expected to have his or her own personal email address and password that has not been used by jamb (email already registered with jamb would be rejected instantly) if you don’t have a personal JAMB email click here to register. This is the first step.
•    Before you commence on the registration for jamb 2018 the second  step to take is to create a JAMB profile because there are benefits of that profile
Note: it has been made compulsory that all jamb candidates must create a jamb profile because without it there would be no registration for such candidate. And jamb profile creation can be done in any of these places
    1.    Nipost
    2.    Jamb mobile application (now available on android, windows, IOS platforms)
    3.    Banks
•    Fill in the gaps there on the jamb profile creation page(insert your date of birth, registered email address, state of origin etc)
•    The Payment for JAMB’s E-PIN-registration and the recommended reading text is done at the banks and NIPOST. Banks have also agreed to make these services available at CBT centers and JAMB State Offices.
Note: Candidates are to visit any accredited CBT center with his/her personal details, the profile, and proof of payment
•    Candidates can now complete the online registration form by putting their DOB, state of origin, email address, academic results e.g. O’level  results or if such candidate hasn't written he/she can put awaiting results
•    At the CBT center biometrics would be taken (fingerprints and photograph)
•    Fill in the course intending to study and select four(4) institution choices
       1.    First choice (federal or state university)
       2.    Second choice (private or polytechnics)
       3.    Third choice (polytechnics or college of education)
       4.    Fourth choice (college of education)
•    Ensure you collect the E-slip after the registration because it’s a proof of registration

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WOULD BE NO OFFLINE REGISTRATION FOR CORRECTIONS SO BE CAREFUL WHILE REGISTERING. And any candidate registered outside the approved centers would be detected and disqualified immediately.

                HOW MUCH IS 2018/2019 JAMB REGISTRATION FEE

According to the jamb registrar prof. Ishaq oloyede said that the official fee for jamb registration still remains N5000 and reading text costs N500 and the application fee is inclusive of the commission of three hundred Naira (N300) paid on each application to the selling points. This would sum up to be N5800 in total.

     JAMB NEW RULES FOR 2018/19 BY PROF. ISHAQ OLOYEDE

Recently on Thursday oloyede made mention of some certain rules and regulation for the 2018 jamb examination conduct these are what he made mention of.
    Oloyede said that in addition to telephones and other prohibited materials, all other electronic gadgets, device, lens; wrist watches, pen, eyeglasses would be scrutinized. ‎
    He also said that the optional Mock Examination would commence from January 22nd to 24th 2018.
